Miko, LLC was contracted to construct a new enclosed office space within the existing Maintenance Warehouse at the 23rd Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope included full interior tenant improvements from demolition through finishes, tailored to integrate seamlessly within an active industrial environment.
Work began with selective demolition of chain-link fencing, hose bibs, storefront doors, and miscellaneous fixtures—with salvage and reuse where specified. New bollards were installed for protection around the office perimeter.
The build-out included new interior and exterior drywall partitions, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, a complete HVAC system, and painting of all new surfaces, doors, and bollards. Miko also installed storefront windows and doors with privacy film, office flooring, drop ceilings, and interior signage.
This compact yet detailed project highlights Miko’s expertise in executing precision renovations within utility facilities—delivering clean, functional office environments that meet both operational and aesthetic expectations.
