Miko, LLC performed a targeted renovation and infrastructure upgrade for the LRS Storage Room in Building 15 at a fully operational government facility. The scope included asbestos testing and epoxy floor removal, concrete grinding and polishing, wall painting, and installation of a new motorized overhead coiling door. Additional work involved demolition and infill of existing door openings, removal of salvageable equipment, and construction of a full-height interior security partition with lockable gate access.
Exterior improvements included installation of a reinforced concrete pad with appropriate grading and drainage, supported by comprehensive materials testing and quality control procedures. All work was coordinated around sensitive facility operations with minimal disruption, adhering to strict security, E-Verify compliance, and safety protocols. Deliverables included as-builts, O&M manuals, progress documentation, and system data collection in accordance with federal standards.
