Miko, LLC completed a custom deck and patio remodel at a residence in Parks, Arizona. The project involved demolition of the existing back deck and overhang, followed by construction of a new 18′ x 18’4″ deck with integrated stairs and a full roof structure.
Scope Highlights:
- Douglas Fir framing with 4×12 beams and 2×10 joists
- Roof framing with 6×6 posts and 24GA PBR metal roofing
- Electrical setup for patio lighting (fixture by homeowner)
- Composite Trex Transcend decking with custom redwood rail system
- Concrete footings and stair landing
- Exterior painting and wood sealing for long-term durability
Optional work included a kitchen countertop upgrade using Wilsonart laminate. The project emphasized structural quality, low-maintenance materials, and aesthetic alignment with the existing home.
